A new survey of 1,069 physicians and other providers found that radiology and other health care services currently taking place in hospital-based settings could shift to alternative care sites with today’s technology. This shift would preserve clinical outcomes and reduce overall health care spending by between $113.8 billion and $147.7 billion each year.
